As a child I was fascinated by holograms. In this piece I took as point of departure the idea of recreating the optical illusion of a hologram through sound. The field recordings are taken from acoustic instruments and vocals that I processed and stacked to create slightly distorted versions of the live instruments performed by the All-Stars. The electronics include sounds produced by clarinets, various bells, wood drums, voices and prepared piano and function as a reflection of the instruments on stage.
